At the most recent Northern New England Neurological Society Annual Meeting, Richard P. Morse, MD -- an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology at Dartmouth Medical School and the Chief of Child Neurology and Development at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, New Hampshire -- gave a presentation on Dravet syndrome.
In his presentation, Dr. Morse discussed how clinical presentation, electroencephalography, and genetic testing are used to diagnose Dravet syndrome. He also discussed techniques for counseling families about the genetics and molecular mechanisms of Dravet syndrome and helping families choose the appropriate treatment for their children.
